About this video

2002 Toyota Highlander How To Remove a and Replace a Side View Mirror. 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 should all be the same or similar. Replacing a side view mirror on a 2002 Toyota Highlander is a straightforward process. The mirror assembly is secured by three 10mm bolts and an electrical connector. The connector has a small pin at the bottom that needs to be released to detach the wiring harness. Some minor adhesive may also be present, connecting the mirror to an adjacent trim piece. This procedure is similar for both the driver and passenger side mirrors. For detailed steps on removing the door panel, which is often necessary to access the mirror assembly, please refer to our other video. Got car questions?
