About this video

2002 Toyota Highlander How To Remove a and Replace a bad door speaker. 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 should all be the same or similar. Removing a speaker from a 2002 Highlander involves a few steps. After removing the door panel (see our other video for that), you'll typically find Phillips screws securing the speaker. While this one turned out to be a JBL aftermarket, OEM speakers usually attach with three screws into plastic clips. Carefully detach the speaker, minding the positive and negative connectors. Some corrosion might make this a bit trickier, but a flathead screwdriver can help gently pry the clips loose. Need parts for your Toyota, Lexus, or Scion?
